Daniel is in Grinnell Med. Center having had Hernia surgery.

Daniel has a picture on his facebook site. It is not pretty of scar. He was much worse than doctors thought as they started surgery yesterday a.m. Operation was to be a 30 min, but went to a hour and a half. His weight loss of over 150 lbs in 15 months really helped him, but these doctors are the best for heavy people. Well, I asked him about pretty nurses, but he is worrying about walking and coming back home to his PAD.This weather has side-tracked our diet discussion. He is starting  back to Indian Hills Com. college here in town on Sept. 1 part-time, was in school last year. Dan and I are trying to let folks know how there is life before and after weight loss, you will enjoy his videos of the flooding, etc. all in his purple GeoMetro convertible. A year ago all this was a dream for him. Muffy and I are enjoying a peaceful beautiful day, as tommorow rain is in the forecast. Bye for now.
